Hotel & Travel Information

The nearest hotel to Comic Quest is a very nice Econo Lodge about 4 blocks east of CQ. We recommend folks from out-of-town call them.

Travel Directions:

From East of Evansville: Most of you should be approaching the city on I-64 westbound. Take the 1st Evansville exit (29 I believe) that is for Route I-164 South. Follow this south to the Morgan Avenue exit. On your right after about 2 blocks will be the hotel recommended above. To get to CQ, continue east on Morgan Avenue. Pass straight through the lights at Green River Road, Stockwell, and Theater Drive. The next light is Boeke Road. Turn right and enter the parking lot for Rural King/Buehlers. Comic Quest shares the strip mall with Rural King.

From the West of Evansville: Most of you should be approaching the city on I-64 eastbound. Exit at Route 41 South. Take 41 South into the city of Evansville. At Morgan Avenue, turn left. Pass straight through the lights at Weinbach and Oak Hill. The next light will be Boeke. Turn left and enter the parking lot for Rural King. Comic Quest shares the strip mall with Rural King. To reach the recommended hotel, continue east straight through the Boeke light and pass straight through the lights at Theater, Stockwell, and Green River Road. The hotel will be almost immediately on the left.

From the North of Evansville: Most of you should be approaching Evansville on Route 41 Southbound. Take 41 South into the city of Evansville. At Morgan Avenue, turn left. Pass straight through the lights at Weinbach and Oak Hill. The next light will be Boeke. Turn left and enter the parking lot for Rural King. Comic Quest shares the strip mall with Rural King. To reach the recommended hotel, continue east straight through the Boeke light and pass straight through the lights at Theater, Stockwell, and Green River Road. The hotel will be almost immediately on the left.

From the South of Evansville: Most of you coming from Kentucky or Tennessee should be approaching Evansville coming up the Pennyrile Parkway. Pennyrile parkway merges into Route 41 northbound at the city of Henderson just across the Ohio river from us. Continue on Route 41 North until you reach Morgan Avenue. Turn Right onto Morgan Avenue. Pass straight through the lights at Weinbach and Oak Hill. The next light will be Boeke. Turn left and enter the parking lot for Rural King. Comic Quest shares the strip mall with Rural King. To reach the recommended hotel, continue east straight through the Boeke light and pass straight through the lights at Theater, Stockwell, and Green River Road. The hotel will be almost immediately on the left.
