    The annual EGG election party was held at Burdette Park Lakeside on Sunday October 6th. Although we admit it was thrown together at the last minute, happily most of the membership was still able to attend. The new Board is listed, please make note of the new faces! We are happy to welcome Steve Dycus as Guildmaster, Mark Richardson as Assistant Guildmaster, and James House as Sergeant-At-Arms. Kim Wajer-Scott has resumed the role of Scribe, and Jeri McGraw continues as treasurer.

    The next party is our annual Halloween/Hatching party! The party will be held at the Burdette Park Clubhouse, on Sunday November 3rd. The hours of the party are from 10am until 11pm. Please bring your own meat and a snack, beverage or dessert to share. There may or may not not be a grill, so be sure to check before you bring uncooked meat. Our website will have up-to-the minute details, or you can call the Scribe at (812)401-3054. Costumes are optional, but encouraged! Kim will be attempting to run Living Arcanis: Assault Upon the Gate of Tears, so if you wish to play, come early (by noon).

    The next meeting of the Board of Directors will take place at the Halloween/Hatching Party, November 3rd, at 7:00pm. All members of the Board of Directors should make an effort to attend.

    The Scribe will once again attempt to revive the Dragon's Lair as a monthly publication. The Dragon's Lair is thusly once again looking for submissions. Submissions can be game news, game or movie reviews, artwork, filk, fiction, or anything another gamer might appreciate. Please email the Scribe or speak to her at Guild to make a submission. Submissions should be typed, or submitted as a text file.

    A member of EGG is being published! Kimberly Wajer-Scott has accepted a writing contract from Paradigm Concepts Inc. Her first modules will premiere in January, and her first sourcebook sometime around April. Congrats!
