EGG Hatchings
The annual EGG Halloween/Hatching Party was held November 3rd at the Burdette Park Clubhouse. Everyone thought that the clubhouse is the nicest place we've ever rented! We have discovered that the clubhouse actually has an industrial smoker/grill on premises, as well as indoor bathrooms and kitchette. No more hauling grills and such for us! Yeah! Everyone had a great time. Several tables of Arcanis ran, as did tables of Buffy, and other games. We also held an Arcanis Activity Center & Marketplace!
Winners of the costume contest were:
- Most Likely to Save the City: Challie Rogers as Spiderman!
- Most Likely to get stopped at the airport: Brian Tieken as the Agent!
- Third place (free 6-month EGG membership): Chuck Schulz, as the Friar
- Second place (free one year EGG membership): Phil Scott & Kim Wajer-Scott in their Arcanis-themed costumes of Coryani Senator and Nierite fire-mage
- First place ($20 CQ gift certificate): Bryan Faw, as the foppish Frenchman!
The Good EGG award this year was presented to Kimberly Wajer-Scott, for all the work she has done running RPGA modules at Guild, building the EGG website up, and generally helping keep EGG running smoothly in this past hectic year.

EGG is starting to make plans for a gameday weekend/minicon in conjunction with our EGG Easter Party next spring. If you would like to help organize this event, or are interested in GMing for us, please contact a Board Member as soon as possible!
Arcanis Updates:
Kim Wajer-Scott is looking for Arcanis players! Many mods are available, parties just need to be assembled. Please check out EGG's Living Arcanis Homepage or ask Kim for details.
Comic Quest is finally starting to get in copies of Codex Arcanis on a regular basis. If you don't have one, pick it up!
Freeport!: Paradigm Concepts has adopted Green Ronin's Freeport setting into Arcanis! Some of the spells and magic items from the pirate city are becoming available, and a conversion doc should be out soon.
Spell decks! Mysteries of the Arcane, the deck for wizards & sorcerers, is available now! Decks for clerics, druids/rangers, & psionicists should be available soon!
